Textile workshop
Workshop Vision:
Getting playful AND functional around all those undervalued,
totally therapeutic, communal and fun providing textile/ needle work
Workshop outline:
You will be introduced to various techniques around Stitching, Crocheting and innovative ways
to use various materials and produce a number of finished pieces
such as Bags, cushions, brand your clothing with your own unique logo etc
Requirements:
You may bring your own piece (a favourite piece of clothing, a cushion or pouch etc) or use what we provide and then produce your own artistic applique.
We will be providing all relevant tools and different materials to creatively mix/match
Please note that this is a workshop focusing on crafting your pieces by hand rather than Sewing machine-use
